Aunque Bob Marley tuvo varios hijos, los cuales se dedicaron al canto y sobre todo al reggae en su estado más puro, Damian Marley lo combino con el rap, en algo llamado raggamuffin, aunque tambien ha grabado con ritmos como: reggae, roots reggae,dancehal y ragga que lo ha llevado a ganar en los premios Grammy’s 2007 como mejor álbum reggae y mejor actuación Urbana/Alternativa (Welcome To Jamrock), siendo el artista Jamaiquino en ganar en dos categorías distintas.
Damian Marley nació el 21 de julio de 1978 en Jamaica, la patria de su extinto padre, y al igual que su padrees rastafari y su música refleja su espiritu de amor, un planeta, y la libertad para todos.

Espero que bob marley se sienta orgulloso de sus hijos que aunque tienen exito no han dejado sus raices rastafaris como su padre
y espero que así siga siendo siempre aunque tengan mucho dinero no deberían dejar que muera el sueño de su padre de volver algún dia todos los negros a Africa su Africa!!!!!!!!!!! SEGURO QUE SU PADRE NO quisiera que abandonen su sueño
